Head of Marketing / CMO
About Humand
Humand is an HR tech SaaS platform helping companies build stronger internal cultures through employee engagement, communication, and development tools. We operate in 50+ countries with over 2M active users — and recently closed the largest Series A in Latin American history. We're in full hypergrowth mode, scaling exponentially across LATAM, Brazil, EMEA, and North America. We hire A players who thrive in that environment.
The Role
We're looking for a Head of Marketing / CMO to lead a 50+ person global marketing team and own the revenue contribution of marketing worldwide.
The core of this role is taking the marketing team to the next level. We've grown fast and the team delivers, HISPAM is performing and Brazil is scaling quickly. The next stage is to keep that pace while raising the level of the operation: mature internal processes, a reporting system leadership can trust, clear ownership across areas, and budget decisions grounded in solid data. The goal isn't only to scale faster, it's to scale efficiently.
We're looking for someone who has led a marketing organization with this same mix of verticals — Growth, Paid Media, Product Marketing, Data & Analytics, Design, Multimedia, Web, Brand & Content, PR — and knows how to make specialties this different operate as one system with a shared direction.
You'll report directly to the CEO, sit at the leadership table alongside Sales, Product, and Finance, and own marketing's number in front of the board and investors.
What You'll Own
Revenue Accountability & Measurement
Own marketing's contribution to pipeline and MRR across LATAM, Brazil, EMEA, and North America.
Own the multi-touch attribution model: define how we measure revenue contribution by channel, market, and campaign type, and direct the Data & Analytics team that builds it on top of our existing data warehouse and HubSpot infrastructure. You set the model and the standard of rigor, the team implements it.
Re-define the full-funnel measurement framework: which few metrics per marketing area actually anticipate revenue, how they connect to demos and MRR, and what we stop measuring.
Establish how we measure the dark funnel — PR, brand, and offline — so investment decisions aren't biased toward whatever happens to be trackable.
Own board and investor reporting: build the system that surfaces the metrics the board cares about in real time, define the cadence, and come to every board meeting with the causes, levers, and timelines behind every number.
Strategy & Planning
Own the global marketing strategy and its translation into regional plans across four regions and 50+ countries.
Build the projection model that connects investment to output: how much budget generates how many demos, at what conversion rates and sales cycle, and what headcount Sales needs to absorb them. Give the CEO, the board, and Sales numbers they can plan on.
Own global budget allocation across paid media, brand, content, events, and partnerships, and defend it with data.
Organization & Leadership
Lead, coach, and develop the marketing org: 58 people across 11 sub-areas — some with a dedicated manager, others still coordinated directly — with the area managers reporting to you.
Design the next layer of the structure: how to group areas under coordination roles, and who is ready to lead beyond their own specialty. Getting this right the first time is one of the highest-leverage decisions in the role.
Finish maturing our matrix model (global specialists + regional teams): make explicit what's global and what's regional, close the ownership handoffs currently in transition, and eliminate duplicated work and slow coordination between areas.
Build the OKR and KPI system per vertical, down to the individual level — including creative and service areas (Design, Multimedia, Web, Product Marketing) where output-based metrics don't work. It has to survive priorities changing every quarter.
Define levels, salary bands, and career paths across marketing specialties that have little in common with each other — with one shared level structure and specialty-specific evaluation criteria, including growth tracks for specialists who don't want to manage.
Lead as an AI-first operator: set the criteria for where AI belongs and where it doesn't, and redesign processes and roles around it rather than layering tools on top of old workflows. We have a dedicated AI & Automations function to build it — what's needed from you is the judgment on where the leverage is. The mandate is to grow output and efficiency without defaulting to more headcount.
Cross-functional
Partner with the Head of Sales on a joint MKT–Sales roadmap: lead quality, SLAs, handoff, enablement, and a shared definition of a qualified opportunity.
Work with Finance on budget, forecasting, and CAC/LTV discipline.
Set the positioning and product marketing strategy together with Product and the CTO: launches, messaging, and competitive narrative. The Product Marketing team executes — you own the direction and the alignment with Product's roadmap.
What We're Looking For
Many years in B2B SaaS marketing, leading a marketing org of 40+ people across multiple regions.
Experience leading a multi-vertical marketing organization — Growth, Paid Media, Product Marketing, Data & Analytics, Design, Multimedia, Web, Brand & Content — not only a performance or brand team. You've had specialties this different reporting to you and know how to set direction and standards for each.
Proven experience operating in our markets — HISPAM, Brazil, EMEA, and North America — including leading expansion into at least one of them from outside the region. You know what breaks and what carries over.
Proven experience directing the build of a multi-touch attribution model in B2B SaaS — you've defined one, led the team that implemented it, iterated on it, and defended budget decisions on top of it to a CEO or board.
Experience building a financial projection model for marketing: investment → demos → pipeline → revenue, with the headcount implications for Sales.
Experience running board and investor reporting for marketing: you know what a Series A/B board actually looks at, and you've defended metrics that came in below plan.
Experience designing and running a matrix marketing organization (global specialists + regional teams), including deciding what's centralized and what's local.
Proven experience building the people infrastructure of a marketing org: OKRs down to individual level for both quantitative and creative/service areas, level frameworks, salary bands, and career tracks.
Demonstrated ability to identify and develop leaders — including promoting specialists into roles that span disciplines beyond their own.
AI-first mindset at the process level, not the tool level. You've restructured workflows, roles, or teams around AI and can show the efficiency it produced. This is not optional.
A record of professionalizing a marketing operation: processes, documentation, reporting cadence, and decision-making rituals that hold up as the team grows.
Deep fluency in HubSpot, BI/data warehouse environments, GA4, and the paid media ecosystem (Google, LinkedIn, Meta) — enough to set direction and challenge your team's analysis, not to run the campaigns or build the dashboards yourself.
Fluent English, written and spoken + Spanish and/or Portuguese.
Nice to have
Experience scaling into APAC.
Experience in HR tech, or selling to HR / People / Internal Communications buyers.
Experience with PLG or hybrid PLG + sales-led motions.
Why This Role
You own marketing end to end for a company at a historic inflection point — the largest Series A in Latin American history — with the team, budget, and data infrastructure already in place.
A 58-person org that's already built and performing: you're scaling and sharpening an engine, not starting from zero.
Direct reporting line to the CEO, a seat at the leadership table, and real ownership of the revenue number.
Remote-first, with a global team across LATAM, Brazil, Europe, and North America.
A players work with A players. We've built one of the strongest marketing teams in the region — this role decides how far it goes.
